Ingredients

Black Bean Dip

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil extra virgin
  • 16 ounces refried black beans
  • 2 tablespoons hot sauce
  • 1 tomato chopped
  • 1 avocado diced

For Serving

  • Tortilla chips
  • Squeeze of lime

Instructions

  • Heat the olive oil in a medium frying pan over medium heat. Scoop out the refried black beans into the pan and stir with a spatula. Warm the beans for 2-3 minutes.
  • Once the beans are warm and soft, spread into a shallow and small or medium serving dish. Pour the hot sauce on top and use a spoon to spread evenly across the top. Sprinkle on the tomatoes and avocado.
  • Serve with freshly squeezed lime juice and tortilla chips.
