Servings: 6 people
- Sourdough loaf
- 6 garlic cloves peeled and minced
- ½ cup olive oil extra virgin
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon black pepper freshly ground
Preheat the oven to 400F.
Slice the sourdough bread and arrange the slices on a baking sheet.
Add the minced garlic to a small bowl. Add the olive oil, salt, garlic powder, and black pepper. Use a spoon to mix everything together well.
Spoon the garlicky mixture evenly over top of the sourdough slices.
Bake in the oven for about 10 minutes, or until desired crispiness. If you like more oily, chewy garlic bread, you may want to remove it earlier. If you prefer your garlic bread to be extra crispy, you may want to leave it in longer. It helps to turn the oven light on so you can keep an eye on it.
